Subject Description: A woods interior, high rocky form at left, deep woods and hills at right half of picture. A stream flows out of middle distance, left to foreground. A female nude sits on a rock on the bank of the stream. A brightly lighted sky behind distant trees at left.
Condition: Painting of trees very thin on a scraped down canvas. Extensive retouches throughout.
Infra-red: Nothing of significance.
UltraViolet: Reveals pattern of retouches. Note particularly on figure.
Color: Sky blue-green, woods blackish green, foreground and figure a pale grayed gold.
X-ray: Thin wash of ground.
