Subject Description: Horizon line at level bottom quarter of composition, two small trees left of center, partially enclosed tepee, with dimly seen Indian figures left center foreground, others vaguely seen at left in the middle distance.
Condition: Wide contraction crackle in foreground.
Infra-red: Reveals long sweeps of sub-texture in sky and extremely fine and delicate drawing of figures; campfire and tepees in foreground.
UltraViolet: Shows vertical crackle in varnish coat.

X-ray: Nothing of significance.
