Subject Description: Tall bare tree rises from foreground at right. Lower foliage on horizon center to left of picture. Figure in red garment with dog at center middle ground. The large tree is highlighted with white along the trunk and branches. Foreground and sky at center left are white. Ground of blue pigment shows faintly throughout the picture and edge of panel. Details of tree branches and foliage drawn into pigment with an extremely incised line.
