Project Team

Katherine Walter - Principal Investigator

Katherine L. Walter co-directs the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Center for Digital Research in the Humanities and is professor and chair of Digital Initiatives & Special Collections in the UNL Libraries.   As principal investigator, Walter is responsible for directing the online project and fostering access to the Nebraska Blakelock Inventory.

Norman Geske - Consultant

Norman A. Geske was involved in the creation of the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery at UNL and served as its director until his retirement in 1983.  He was instrumental in creating the Museum of Nebraska Art at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center at UNL, and the Interstate 80 Bicentennial Sculpture Project.  Geske is primarily responsible for the development of the Nebraska Blakelock Inventory, and has evaluated almost 3000 works of art believed to be by the artist.
