Subject Description: Open, flat landscape, framed by large trees on either side. Immediate foreground dark, middle ground a middle tone, the sky bright.
Condition: Canvas mounted on masonite.
Infra-red: Sharpens tonal contrast revealing the exact character of the tree trunks at right.
UltraViolet: Reveals scattered areas of retouch.
Color: 
X-ray: Thin irregular application of ground, heavy in sky area.
