Subject Description: Glass vase with ovoid body and straight neck, contains a bouquet of violets.
Condition: Oil on a wooden shingle, surface darkened with grime, brighter color shows through in spots apparently caused by a sprayed solvent. Heavy impasto in flowers.
Infra-red: Nothing of significance.
UltraViolet: Nothing of significance.
Color: 
X-ray: Reveals touches of ground in a few of the flowers and in the highlights on the glass vase.
